The 80’s Ladies – Music from Dolly, Liza and Cher!

A Birthday Celebration

In 2026, Dolly Parton, Liza Minnelli, and Cher all turned 80! Born just 121 days apart, these three extraordinary women conquered music, television, and film. By the late 1960s, all three were making their mark on the entertainment world, beginning careers that would span more than six decades.

From Dolly’s “Jolene,” “9 to 5,” and “I Will Always Love You,” to Liza’s “Cabaret,” “Maybe This Time,” and “New York, New York,” to Cher’s “I Got You Babe,” “If I Could Turn Back Time,” and “Believe,” their unforgettable music has entertained generations.

Join Girls Like Us — Beckie Menzie (musical director), Laura Freeman, and Marianne Murphy Orland — along with local Skokie resident Abigail Riccards, 2026 Skokie Idol winner Dorothy Kapusta-Gibbons, The Skokie owner Joe Cantillo’s daughter, Ava Josette Cantillo, and Irwin Berkowitz (drums and vocals).

Come celebrate the music, glamour, humor, and extraordinary careers of three of America’s most iconic female entertainers!
